![]() I recently purchased Limewire Pro for 1 yr. everything was going great up until a few days ago..we had a major storm and hydro was off for a few minutes but anyways i have tried to download music and all i get now are stalled searches..how do i fix the problem or am i doing something wrong? I would appreciate it very much if someone could tell me how to fix it..thanx in advance |

However, try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included 2nd last post of page.) Make sure to backup your Downloads(.dat) file before deleting this preferences folder however. ![]() In general I suggest you use the Search function. The Fixed Stalled tool only has limited abilities & only seeks the previous uploader(s) who since may not be online else have dynamic and now different ip address. Also right-click search tab & choose Find More Results. This will help to find more sources to download from. ![]() |
