I have the same problem and even when I can get it to download, I can only do 1 song at a time and even then it took over 2 hours to download the song, I am using Windows XP have a DSL modem with the highest speed that my provider offers, I had an older version of Limewire that I never had any problems with, I think I am going to look at a way to possibly go back to that one
