Exclamation My downloads are all stalling - what the ... ?

I've never had this problem before, but within the last couple of weeks, my downloads will either go through with no problem, or all of them will stall. I hit the "fix stall" thing, but while sometimes it tries to refind the file, it inevitably returns to the stall status again. I have Windows 7 and this is always through Gnutella, not torrent. I even updated last evening to Limewire Pro, thinking that would help this problem, but the same thing is happening. I've tried closing and reopening Limewire with no success. What's going on? Am I doing something wrong all of a sudden?

Files do not necessarily restart by themselves. Best way is to search for each of them like you did originally to find them. That will find sources for them to download from. I suspect the "Fix Stall" etc. only tries to seek the previous ip addresses it was downloading from so if those specific users are offline or cannot find them or their ip addresses have changed due to dynamic ip addresses, then LW will not find them.

Another thing to try is delete your LW preferences folder whilst LW is closed. Make sure you backup your Downloads.dat file first before you delete the folder. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/genera...ndows-7-a.html
