limewire pro 5.5.10 i can only download 8 videos at a time and i have searched the options and i can not find where to increase or decrease like you could with other limewires. am i missing something. thanks

Are they regular Gnutella (LW) files or torrents?

Do you mean 8 hosts per file or 8 video files at a time? LW Basic can only download from 8 hosts per file, unless running in Ultrapeer mode.

You did not specify whether these files are Torrent or Gnutella network files as it says near top of page. The Default setting is a maximum of 8 downloads at a time. If you wish to increase this, go to LW's menu bar, Tools -> Options -> Transfers, click on Settings & you will see an option to change Maximum downloads.

that option is not available in the limewire pro 5.5.10 version that i have. in fact it seems i may have a streamline version because thare are other options missing. like not being able to select download speed.

I suspect you missed it. I was using LW 5.5.9 pro & updated to 5.5.10 & the option is there. It's called Settings near bottom of window of the Transfers window. In the Settings window that pops up, the Max. downloads option is at top of that.
