Statistics Sometimes I check "statistics" from the pull-down menu, just to get an idea of how many files are available. To be honest, I have no idea whether these numbers are reliable or realistic. Usually, they hover anywhere between 20,000 and 100,000, and are occasionally a little higher. Today, for a few brief moments, the number was--I kid you not--about 4 and a half BILLION. I quickly did some searches, and sure enough, I found the returns were many times better than they usually are. Then the program crashed (doh). And ever since then, my searches yield the customary paltry results. What happened? Was I briefly connected to the REAL file-sharing network? Anybody else have this experience? |
