Confused Downloaded L5 not realizing its not comp. w/10.4.11....

I have previously used Limewire. I don't recall which version. I own a iBook G4. I had Apple wipe and re-install Tiger. Now I need Limewire again. Initially I downloaded L5 & found out it wasn't compatible. So I dropped it in the trash and downloaded a version of L4. During the process it says tht the version I'm installing is older and will overwrite the current one. (understandable but I thought I trashed it.) I click cont. and it says tht there is nothing to be dwnlded.

All I want r two specific songs at the moment. I've been dwnlding updates to Java all day, only to find out tht L5 isnt even compatible!

Help me please.....
Jay

http://www.gnutellaforums.com/mac-os...link-here.html & scroll down to the bold highlighted text, this is about how to downgrade versions on a mac. Try the LW 4.16.6 version listed. If you don't like it you can always try 4.16.7 or 4.18.

You mean on your computer? Drag & drop from your browser page to desktop.

To put into your post simply click on the smiley in the list. Click the More link to see multiples of others.

Default Emoticons........

Yes, to my comp. I know tht I can drag and drop them onto my desktop. But they wont be active emoticons. Is there an application that I can install to use them anytime I want in my own personal messages?

emoticons are usually installed into the particular forum or chat medium. However, you can potentially copy-paste the url for them, that can work. Control-click the smiley & choose Open Image in New Window & copy the URL address, or Copy Image Address/Copy Image. Paste the URL. Though it's not always as simple as that depending on the chat medium you are using.
