Can I filter out WMA files?
 

Returning after 2 year absence. All WMA files seem to be false and bogus for me. Any way to filter all the WMA trash? Please be absolutely step-by-step specific...u have a dummy here. Also, many songs that were here 2 years ago will no loger show. Does LW ever dump songs, or has the request info got more intricate? Thx

What version of LimeWire are you using?

if its like frost in option tools there is filter sombrero just add .wma

Limewire is just software, not a server, and therefore has no files to dump. Peer-to-peer file-sharing is just that; you send/receive files to others (peers) who are on the network at the same time as you. Like a browser for file-sharing, LW only facilitates searches and file transfers.

id use bitzi too if lime uses that

Yes, the filter will work well with it. If adding extensions to filter out, be sure to remember to put the dot (full stop) before it. Example: .wma

Thanks...you all are the greatest. 4.16 actually has the word FILTER in the bar itself so it was even a bit easier. And your advice worked very well. I'm in your debt.
