my limewire wont download music files

hi guys.
i had to download the new version of lime wire on my mac osx becuase it would not connect. now that i have the new one it connects and searches but once i click on the song i want it says connecting then says "connecting to 2 P2P users" then thats it. it wont begin to download or anything and it has been sitting like that for nearly 2 hours.
help anyone???
