2.3.1 (Mac) Search again feature gone?

I've just downloaded 2.3.1 for Mac and find that the function to double click on an existing search, to search again without having to type it again has disappeared. Is this a fault, or a feature reserved for Pro? Any help appreciated?

This way still works: Command-click the tab and select Repeat Search.
