Default copy file from Limewire to Itunes

Hi.

New user to LimeWire.

Just one question.

I am using Limewire 5.6.2. I am running MS windows XP with a internet connection of 56K.

Question: Can I copy my selected file from Limewire to Itunes without performing download in Limewire initially.
Unfortunately I have a very slow machine and each file (song) I select to download takes about 20 minutes.
I did try to drag my file from Limewire to Itunes without a doing download but no file was copied. I can only drag a file after a download is completed.

Thanks.
Tomx2.

Simple answer is no.
For the file to be copied to iTunes, it must exist on your computer. Thus you must wait for it to be downloaded by LW.
(Once the file is 100% downloaded, it will transfer from your incomplete folder to your downloads folder.)
Incompletely downloaded files in the LW Library will show (downloading) after their name.

Unfortunately on dial up speed connection, you will not be able to download the files any faster than you do at present. Broadband speed or similar type would allow faster speeds.
