Alright, i'll be downloading a dozen files. they will appear in my incomplete folder in library tab. Then all of sudden BAM-they all disappear except for maybe 1 or 2. I search the computer and they are nowwhere to be found. I quit and restart limewire and what do you know all the files are back, though now they start from 0%.

Thing is they keep deleting on me after awhile. In Search tab they will continue to show a download even though they don't appear in my Library tab (shared or incomplete folders).

I tried setting up new share folders but this did nothing. I've never experienced this before in earlier versions. Seems other people are having this problem too, thought i'd give it its own thread

I was playing around with the program and think that they delete because of one of 2 possibilities.

1. after a given time they just delete.
2. it may coincide with launching a file while it is still being downloaded. i don't know why but my files disappear after using any button on the search tab.

I am using 2.3.1 pro. If I quit, & restart, downloads will resume, all downloads will restart from 0. I have just lost over a gigabyte of data. What a waste of bandwith!
Also, when downloads show as complete in library, downloads sometimes just stop, without transferring from incomplete folder.
Several times Incomplete files will just disappear or restart from 0, for no obvious reason.
In other respects I like Limewire, but these faults make it unusable. I shall return to Gnucleus with all it's faults until there is some sort of fix.

I'm having the exact same problem as you. My 2 dl's vanished when i started a third.
Downloads also won't resume, but thats another story entirely...

Same damn thing with me. Virtually all my incompletes now disappear, making this version useless. I thought newer versions were supposed to be better, not worse! Time to go back to bearshare for me.

I'm downloading, then all of a sudden its gone to. But that's not the worst. I download it, it is in incomplete and when its finished, it moves to no man's land. It simply disappears. When I first got the latest version, I downloaded exactly 7 files, then every other file from there after ceased to be.

If I want an earlier version where should I go?
