question I've got a question :If I want to download a file to an other place except the library of limewire, how can I do that? I hope you understand my question because my english isn't very well. |
If I understand your question correctly then you have to go to the section labeled tools in limewire. Then go to options and in the options folder labeled saving you can change which folder your downloads go to. |
Don't forget! Your files are stored on your hard drive. The 'Library' is just a reflection of what is in the 'Shared' folder on your HD. :) |
I think this is why it's confusing (at least in my mind): If I delete a song from my playlist in my MP3 player it doesn't delete the file but just the entry in the playlist. However, LimeWire's library tab looks like a playlist and it even has a built-in player. Despite this playlist appearance the listing is actually a file manager. Deleting a song from here deletes the file, not playlist behavior. That difference is not very clear. |
I've mentioned in a couple of posts before the need for some kind of warning about deleting files from the Library, but as far as I know, it has not been taken up. Perhaps you could add your weight to the argument and send a PM to one of the developers. Thanks :) |
