Poor Download Speed

Hi everyone,

Trying to download a movie since yesterday afternoon, hardly any connection, 1KB at the present, keeps stopping and starting, any ideas what I'm doing wrong.

Using windows xp, have shut the firewall down, have a cable modem connection
