Bearshare Sudden Poor Downloads

i have a problem with downloads i used to get great download speed i have a 2 meg connection but as of late download have been very poor infact unusable i have re installed and tried on another pc it is as though something or someone is leeching my connection . one other thing i have noticed is that the indicator of how many people are connected used to vary each time i ran bearshare (as you would expect ) but now it always shows exactly the same amount of users day or night . to my point it has nothing to do with your firewall as i have tried every possible connection and variation of settings all to no avail my assumption is something or someone has found a way to spoil bearshare (in a way i am gladf someone else has this problem as i thought someone had found a way to hack my router )
anyone else experienced this poor download speed

I, too, am having the same problem. Typical downloads used to take matter of minutes just a month ago, but I am now finding that the same-size downloads can take hours--sometimes days...

In addition to the speed itself, I have also noticed that the # of available sources has decreased tremendously.

This is so frustrating, as nothing seems to help... Does anyone know what's up? I hope this is just temporary.

wouldn't know wtf you d00ds are talking about...works just fine a damn dandy on my end...perhaps a talk with your ISP is in order...

as noted, everything is just fine on my end....
