Hi I've been having trouble for awhile downloading anything from Bearshare. I have a problem both on my Desktop computer and on my Laptop. I connect using a Linksys router and have contacted Linksys to enable Port forwarding once and most recently they had me set up port triggering for Bearshare. Now all of my lights are green for Bearshare but for example one song that is ranked very high is taking about 40 minutes to download. I connect to the net through 2 meg cable modem. Can anyone offer any help ? Is this something wrong with bearshare or am I doing something wrong ? Is there another program that may work better ? Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

I just wanted to add that it seems like the port triggering must be working but I just can't believe 1 song taking almost an hour at times. It's not just one download either, it happens all the time. I also use windows XP which has an automatic firewall which I have lowered for Bearshare. I'm not trying to be lazy or anything and I have read a lot of other posts here but I'm not finding an answer. Thanks for taking the time to read

Next to the lights is a coloured graph, and a little triangular slider runs along the bottom of that graph. Is it all the way to the right?

yes it's slid all the way to the right. I have actually tried moving it toward the left at times hoping it would help. I've tried everything I can think of. Thanks for any help you can offer.

im having the same problem tryingf to reconfiger my firewall to see if that help .any other help out there
