Default Upload requests are all timing out!!!

Hi! I have had no problems with my current version of BearShare (5.2.4.1). I am not big on updates unless there is a specific reason that affects me. It seems to do everything I want it to. Untill 2 days ago when I noticed that all of the sudden, no upload request is being granted from my system. Every request times out and then the entire line turns red (see attached screen capture). Note: the one black line with a "Response" status will eventually end up like the requests above it. I'm still downloading fine and my lights are;
Left and Right = green, Left center is flashing green/red (downloading) and Right Ceter = inactive. I believe this all means I have good connection, no firewall blocks and uploads are enabled.

Using Windows XP with SP2 and have not made any changes to my system hardware, software, or software settings.

Looks like one of those temporary AT&T blocks again. Your cable company is
using them as a backbone network in your area, and they sometimes put up
temporary blocks to save on bandwidth. It should clear up after a few weeks.

The red light is probably indicating a problem in downloads, like a file failed
verification or you are running out of disk space. You might want to check it out if the light is still red.

Thank's for the response! That's interesting. Never heard about an AT&T block, but I am connected to Comcast cable. I'll sit this one out and report back in a couple of weeks.

You also replied to something I didn't realize was indicating a problem, but it was. I tried downloading a file called a webisode after a search on "[edit]". They were different looking in that there appeared to be 8 downloadable .avi files that were about 50 meg each (together they would be about the size of one episode of a 45 minute show. So, out of curiosity I downloaded one. The attached screenshot shows the result. The file seems to have been downloaded, (49/49) but sits there with a status of "Previewing". This sat like that for an hour before I deleated it, which then stoped the Left Center light from alternating red/green. I got the same blinking and status from another download of one of the other 7 [edit] webisodes. The file never ends up in the library and I can't play it with the internal player. The only question I have here is what is a webisode? Someone's cute pet name for a video captured from a streaming web video?

Thank you again,
Jazzmanx

I tried to attach a .jpg screen shot in my reply and it appeared to upload but it doesn't show when I review it in the forum. I guess because I uploaded a file with the original thread listing.

Webisodes are little teasers put out on the web site by a production company
to generate interest in a TV series. The BBC started doing it last year for
Doctor Who and I suppose we'll be seeing more networks doing this now.
