Is there a way i can upload an album on bearshare that i can not find in the search?
Also can't find how to upload songs period

I think that there is some confusion here with the word "upload"...

Your post implies that you are actually asking about Downloading which is when you receive files from others...

Uploading is when you share files, i.e., give them to others...

If your question is more about whole or entire albums, that's another story.

No...i know the difference between downloading and uploading, but how do i upload whole albums because there are some that i cant find in the search? Or can I?

If you want to share anything put it in a folder, go to the Library view in BearShare, push the
Folders button in the top left corner and add the new folder.

If you want to find and get whole albums from other people make a new search for the artist but
hit the Advanced button instead of Search, switch to the Filters tab in the search and set the
minimum size to about 20 MB. Be patient, because it may take a coupe of days to find them.

It wont let me keep searching, it searches for a few seconds and then stops, i have the newest version of bearshare by the way and there is no size option, just artist/album/track in advanced search. So I Search the album and i get 0 results, everything is working fine there is just some albums i cannot find.

I'm still confused how I am supposed to go about uploading a full album along with the album cover and everything.

What version of BearShare are you using? It sounds like you are using the counterfeit one called
v4 but you haven't given us enough information. You should be using the last of the genuine
versions, which you can find in this thread: Sticky: BearShare has been sabotaged.

Im using version 6.something its the newest one on the bearshare site. And if i can avoid not having the older versions i will, the newer one looks alot better.

The "newer" one is a counterfeit which is far inferior even with a cuter looking interface.
It won't do what you want, and that's a deliberate choice of the people who made it.

Well i guess ill download the songs i cant find from the new one and put them in the new one
