Default slow upload

Hi, Was hoping someone could help me with my upload speed, only showing 2KB/S now.(prev 20KB/S yesterday)
I've tried reading other posts so as not to waste anyones time but i can't alter the speed even after playing about with bandwidth speed. Thus no one downloading my files.
My downloads are quick, uploads limited to 2 at at time.

I just want other people to be able to share my files as seems unfair i can download ok but not pass them on

Cheers

It could be the other guy's problem. Speeds vary widely in different places
and some ISPs slow their downloads part time to save on bandwidth.

One speed control that most people miss is the slider on the speed graph.
It should be all the way to the right.

What are your settings in the Connection tab?

Set on 30KB/S at mo but have tried it at unlimited and no difference.
It can't be every user as every upload slow and most people cancel after 30 secs. I'm on the 5 version at mo if that could be the prob?

BearShare settings are all in bits per second. Bytes per second is incorrect terminology for
serial transmission and bitstreams. If you had a 30 in there and were expecting 30
kilobytes per second, you'd only get one eighth of that speed.

Anyway, if all uploads are suddenly crippled I'd suspect your ISP. Which one is it?

Oh yes, they definitely block P2P. Change to another ISP as soon as you can.
