What version of BearShare and what version of iTunes do you have,
and which one (BearShare or iTunes) did you install last?

What do you see when you go to the iTunes page in BearShare's setup?

It says you don't have iTunes?

Try this: iTunes for Windows XP: Troubleshooting unexpected quits, freezes, or launch issues
Go down to the "System-wide Troubleshooting" section and start there,
then try the rest if you have to.

You might have to go back a version.
Apple is notorious for breaking things in iTunes.
It's a control freak thing with them.

Try this other one. It's still in this one: Sticky: BearShare has been sabotaged.
