Feature Requests & Bug Reports Is there anything you'd wish to see in Phex, or did you find some bugs? |

![]() Honestly, I'm not sure if this is a bug, or a feature, but it seems that every little piece gets its own row. Also, having each one labeled as "failed" isn't exactly reassuring, and seems erroneous if that piece claims to have gotten to 100%... anyway, just look at the picture: ![]() PS the filename shown refers to a home-made video of my school's breakfast club... wink wink |

![]() Can you verify if you have "To many open files" errors in your phex.error.log file You can find it in your $HOME/.phex folder, if yes I assume that the problem will be fixed with the next release or when using the SVN version. |

![]() I was just able to test, an it's only partly fixed. When a 3.0 release version attempts to download from my svn version (i'm testing on a lan at the moment), it manages the first 30 or so pieces in a single line of the table, but after a half a minute it starts making new lines for every piece again. Another behavior I've noticed is that it downloads a piece really quickly, reports it as "Completed!", decides to make the next piece bigger, Aborts that half way through, decides to do a smaller piece, and repeats the cycle (although the number of "Completed!" and "Aborted" in a row is somewhat sporadic). I don't know if this is at all significant, just mentioning it. |

![]() Ok, now that I've tested with both clients using the svn version of phex from today, this problem is gone. Uploading is much more reliable, all parts complete, all on one line. In other news... these two clients are on a local network, and both know that they are connected at 100Mbps, but the transfer is only going at 60KB/s... which is like 10,000KB/s slower than it probably should. So, with svn version on all ends, completely functional, but strangely slow. |
