New Genres & Better Filters

I generally search for either country or bluegrass but it's way too general. There are subgenres that should be added such as: alt-country, Texas Country, and also a way to search for country music from other countries so that you can specify 'country' and 'Australia' or country' and 'Germany'

Can genres for Traditional Hawaiian and Jawaiian be added in the drop-down menu?

I look for Australian country and mostly American country comes up in my searches and I really don't want that.

I have a lot of vinyl that I've purchased in the past and am looking for the MP3s since I can't convert them at the moment.

Another issue is with artists, I'll type in Bobby Cash, who is an Indian country artist who records in Australia. When I type him in, I get Johnny Cash, so the filter isn't filtering correctly. That added with the genre would help to target a search much better.

I'm also getting smutty messages when I do a search. Can't that be eliminated? It gets very annoying.

The main thing is more genres. Perhaps we can list the ones we want to be added to the next version as an enhancement and better refinement for the search feature.

In many instances I've heard one song by an artist I like and I'll download a few songs. Most of the time I delete just about everything.

It would also be nice to download some music from YouTube - but MP3s only. I know there's a way to strip the audio from the video but it might be a nice feature to be able to use this application in conjunction with YouTube by putting in the link to the video and being able to strip out the audio.

Do you use Phex?

I ask, because you posted in the Phex forums.

Phex, like LimeWire, is a Gnutella filesharing program, so you might want to try it, since you've already stepped in our forums

PS: For searching, just put the additional genre into the search field. That should work quite well.
