To aid helpers in solving download/upload problems, LimeWire and Frostwire users must specify whether they are downloading a torrent file or a file from the Gnutella network. Members need to supply these details >>> System details - help us to help you (click on blue link) Moderators There are senior members on the forums who serve as Moderators. These volunteers keep the board organized and moving. Moderators are authorized to: (in order of increasing severity) Move posts to the correct forums. Many times, members post in the wrong forum. These off-topic posts may impede the normal operation of the forum. Edit posts. Moderators will edit posts that are offensive or break any of the House Rules. Delete posts. Posts that cannot be edited to comply with the House Rules will be deleted. Restrict members. This is one of the last punishments before a member is banned. Restrictions may include placing all new posts in a moderation queue or temporarily banning the offender. Ban members. The most severe punishment. Three or more moderators or administrators must agree to the ban for this action to occur. Banning is reserved for very severe offenses and members who, after many warnings, fail to comply with the House Rules. Banning is permanent. Commercial advertising is not allowed in any form, including using in signatures. 3. There will be no excessive use of profanity in any forum. 4. If your post is placed in the wrong forum it will be moved by a moderator. There are specific Gnutella Client sections for LimeWire, Phex, FrostWire, BearShare, Gnucleus, Morpheus, and many more. Please choose the correct section for your problem. 7. If you see a post in the wrong forum or in violation of the House Rules, please contact a moderator via Private Message or the "Report this post to a moderator" link at the bottom of every post. Please do not respond directly to the member - a moderator will do what is required. 8. Any impersonation of a forum member in any mode of communication is strictly prohibited and will result in banning. 9. Multiple copies of the same post will not be tolerated. Post your question, comment, or complaint only once. There is no need to express yourself more than once. Duplicate posts will be deleted with little or no warning. Keep in mind a forum censor may temporarily automatically hold up your post, if you do not see your post, do not post again, it will be dealt with by a moderator within a reasonable time. Authors of multiple copies of same post may be dealt with by moderators within their discrete judgment at the time which may result in warning or infraction points, depending on severity as adjudged by the moderators online. 10. Posts should have descriptive topics. Vague titles such as "Help!", "Why?", and the like may not get enough attention to the contents. 11. Do not divulge anyone's personal information in the forum, not even your own. This includes e-mail addresses, IP addresses, age, house address, and any other distinguishing information. Don´t use eMail addresses in your nick. Reiterating, do not post your email address in posts. This is for your own protection. 12. Signatures may be used as long as they are not offensive or sexually explicit or used for commercial advertising. Commercial weblinks cannot be used under any circumstances and will result in an immediate ban. 13. Dual accounts are not allowed. Cannot explain this more simply. Attempts to set up dual accounts will most likely result in a banning of all forum accounts. 14. Video links may only be posted after you have a tally of two forum posts.  (En cours) Problème de vitesse avec LW Bonjour à tous, Voilà je viens d'acquérir sur mon PC* Limewire qui ma souvent été recommandé par mes amis qui m'ont dit que les téléchargements étaient très rapides. Bref. J'ai installé LW et j'ai commencé à télécharger. Je me suis rendu compte que mon taux de transfert ne depassait pas 5 Ko/s. Il tournait autour de 2 Ko/s. Donc j'étais un peu déçu. Pareil j'ai des téléchargements avec 7 hôtes ou je rame a 15 Ko/s.  Donc j'ai pensé qu'il y'avait un problème, sans doute j'ai changé un truc qu'il ne fallait pas dans les options, mais je vois pas quoi. Peut-être aussi s'agit-il de mon pare-feu (Norton) ou bien surement du fait que j'ai un routeur. *Ma config : - Windows XP SP2 - Norton IS 2006 - Cable routeur (censé être du 4 Méga) Numéricable. Merci d'avance !   |

| Salut, cela peut-être dû à ton FAI qui peut limiter la vitesse de LimeWire. Donc pour tester, tu peux télécharger un autre P2P comme Ares (gratuit, sans espiogiciels) http://aresgalaxy.sourceforge.net/ et voir si les vitesses sont bridées à 15ko/s Tu peux aussi toujours les appeler pour t'informer s'ils bloquent les applications P2P. | Salut, Merci d'avoir répondu, je ne m'y connais pas trop en logiciels de partage de fichers donc encore une fois c'est peut-être moi qui voyais ça autrement  . Je vais essayer d'autres logiciels et entre autres Ares.Au fait ma bande passante et de 700 Kbs je crois .Surement du au fait que j'ai 3 pc conenctés à un routeur qui partage la connection :/ Merci encore  ! |

Sinon est-ce que on pourrait avoir un peu plus d'infos sur ta config? OS - version LimeWire + Java - Parfeu - Modem/router marque + modele Fournisseur d'acces internet (FAI) - Type de connection (DSL, ADSL?) - De ou est-ce que tu te connectes (maison, ecole?) - Est-ce que tu partages ta connection avec d'autres ordis? - Est-ce que c'est ta premiere fois avec LW? - Si tu pouvais repondre a ces questions on pourra t'aider. | Salut, Pour l'anglais pas de problème, je suis une brute épaisse . Je vais aller jettez un coup d'oeil, merci.Ensuite pour ma config : OS - Windows XP SP2 Version LW - 4.10.9 (la dernière version téléchargable gratuitement) V. Java - Pour Java je sais pas trop où trouver mais j'ai eu ça dans la Console Java : Java Plug-in 1.5.0_06 Parfeu - NIS 2006 Modem - Thomson (donné par Numéricable) / Routeur - Liknsys (il peut supporter 8 PCs) FAI - Anciennement Wanadoo changé en Numéricable Type de connect - Câble soit disant du 4 méga Je me connecte chez moi, maison. Je partage ma connection avec 2 ordis donc en tout on est 3 pc sur le même routeur et la même connection. Oui c'est ma première fois avec LW et ma première fois avec un logiciel de partage de fichiers. Merci encore Zad. |

| Comme tu parles bien l'anglais je te conseille vraiment d'aller voir les liens ds mon post precedent. Ils sont tres bien (surtout le premier si tu n'as pas de resultats satisfaisants avec le deuxieme lien). Malheuresement je ne suis pas un pro avec les ordis , mais j'essayerai de t'aider dans la mesure du possible.zad |

| j'ai a peu pres le meme probleme... Je suis derriere un router qui a le PnP enable, sur LW il l'est aussi pourtant je n'arrive pas a dépasser les 10ko/s et je telecharge en moyenne a du 3k/s... j'ai jeté un coup d'oeil aux liens qui se trouvent audessus et il me semble que tout est bon ... je ne vois vraiemnt pas d'ou cela peut venir.. (je sais que jsuis en lowID sur eMule et je n'ai jamais reussi a ne pas l'etre, c'est peut etre liée) |

| Douille: oui c'est relié. Cependant, même un pare-feu sur LW ne devrait que ralentir de peu les vitesses de téléchargements grâce à la technologie F2F (firewall to firewall transfers). Ainsi, lorsqu'il est difficile de passer les 50ko/s, il faut surtout soupçonner les fournisseurs d'accès internet (FAI) de limiter la vitesse P2P de Gnutella pour leur utilisateur... Et c'est là que c'est compliqué. Normalement, je recommande de changer vers un FAI qui ne limite pas le P2P, mais ce n'est pas toujours possible pour une foule de raisons. Ciao
