Have been using limewire for some time. Deleted some stuff and it stopped running. Thought I may have deleted something important so, after uninstalling limewire, tried it again and still get the same result. INITAIALISING USER INTERFACE. Tried installing frostwire, same result. Reinstalled windows XP, still the same.

Worked fine before. Any ideas??

Try deleting your FrostWire pref folder found in C:\Documents and Settings\*yourusername*\Application Data\FrostWire
Note: Application Data folder is hidden by default, you have to play with the menu Tools -> Folder options in Windows Explorer

Then resinstall, normally java shouldn't have been affected, but if it doesn't work after deleting prefs, uninstall Java and reinstall 1.5
