Default frostwire crashing osx

Hi all:

I'm using a brand new macbook, running the latest frostwire on leopard. It will work fine for a few minutes, then crash the app, bad enough where force quit won't work. I have to restart the computer. I've updated everything, and nothing seems to work. The frustrating thing is this also happened with my last generation macbook, with the last version of frostwire, running tiger. So I know it's not a question of version, generation, or hardware. And this happens at home, at work, on wifi or ethernet.

Anyone with any ideas?

D

My guess is a lack of ram or HDD space on system drive. Possibly added to with a large number of incompletes & shares. At least on windows, deleting the prefs folder has helped but not sure that applies here.
