![]() I do understand you are not happy with FrostWire...Why not give LimeWire Pirate Edition a chance??? ![]() If you choose to install the LPE version, it's best you do a clean install. Delete the old LW preferences folder, uninstall LW if still installed, & then reinstall LW LPE. Run it once, then close. Then replace the new Downloads.dat file with one you backed up. LPE seems to run better with clean installs. References to deleting the LW preferences folder & saving the Downloads.dat file: Windows and MacOSX. On Windows, if you have system settings set to hide file extensions, then the downloads.dat file will simply be called downloads. To re-add your shared files back to LW, click the My Files tab-button top left of LW's screen, then simply drag & drop the files or folders you wish to share onto the Public Shared icon. |
