furi and wingate

has anyone used furi along with wingate?
i use wingate to share a broadband connection on my home lan. toadnode has no trouble withdowloading but doesn't seem to work for uploads.
how about furi, i have been told it works with proxies better than some of the other gnutellas

Furi works fine with WinGate. Just set up the socks5 proxy setting in Furi and you are set. You would be able to connect to other people but they won't be able to connect to you since you are behind a proxy server. Download works fine. Upload would work via push request.
