[QUOTE]Originally posted by konrad_h: [B] A Mac, now that is interesting. As the new client will be 100% pure Java there is hardly anything I could do to improve performance on a Mac, Hi Konrad, I am currently running Furi on an OS/2 machine -- works great. I am very happy to see that you are putting in an effort to improve this great program. I sent a little script to William that starts Furi in OS/2 -- if you would be interested in incuding it in your "other OS" package let me know... Once again, thanks, Cary |

Ok, ok, ok, I finally did it. The new client can be downloaded from my homepage http://www.konrad-haenel.de The improvements of this version are completely internal, so donīt expect too much new stuff. The most important chage is that I stripped it of all Chat and IRC-Chat capabilities. If you like it, enjoy, if you find bugs, post them. Bye, Konrad |

Well, it seems to work ok under OS/2 -- even though I am just using java 1.18... Keep up the great work. Thanks, Cary |
