Thumbs up How to VERY FAST connect with PHEX!!!!!!!

Hey all,

Just repeating with Cary wrote some threads down to my suggestion re having PHEX auto connect to lets say 10 hosts on startup (Konrad is/maybe looking at doing that):

Select manually however many hosts you want in the hostcatcher window and click on connect.
Voila! PHEX is now trying to connect to all those, regardless of the Network Setting (mine is 3 max).

In no time one has now found several good hosts accepting connections, and PHEX will drop back to the specified max hosts, when one or the other host disconnects.

One thing to remember:
When starting up PHEX, it still has the hosts from the last time it ran in the host catcher.
It is advisable to manually reset the hostcatcher, to get new ones.
It is not done automatically.

Happy PHEXing

JD
