User guide Please pardon a question from someone completely new to this, but is there a user guide of some sort which will outline how to use Phex? I've been able to make it work (sort of), but I think I need something which will explain what the displays in Search mean, etc. Thanks for your help - hereward |
- Score: the percentage of the search terms included in the filename. - Rating: A rating of the host from 0 (bad) to 8 (good). The rating is influenced by your firewall status, busy server flags, push required flag and has uploaded flag. - Information: possible other file infos like mp3 meta data... - SHA1: The hash of the file to uniquely identify if two files have really the same content |
Thanks - I think I have that part. My problem is that, when I search, I don't find anything. I'm apparently skipping a step somewhere in the procedure. Is there more to it than clicking on the search tab and entering a search term? Thanks for any help. |
Normaly not... Are you having connections on the Net Tab? You should wait till you see around 2 Ultrapeer or 3-4 normal peer connections. Gregor |
