![]() This BETA release is a major step in the Phex history. Not only does it come with a new security concept including a hostile host list and improved statistic tracking. It also gives Phex the ability to become a Ultrapeer on the Gnutella network. There are still some minor known issues with the connection count and the Ultrapeer election. But it gives you an impression of what you can expect! You can get it from the Phex homepage: http://phex.kouk.de Or directly here: https://sourceforge.net/project/show...ease_id=123674 Gregor |

![]() This version works as well as BearShare for me. I've always followed Phex, and wanted to use an open source/free gnutella client, rather than a BearShare-like one, but after some initial success, Phex hasn't really competed with BearShare/WinMX/etc. Now it does! Phex is again my first choice in Gnutella clients! Thanks for a great product, Gregor! |
