connection problem

I successfully installed Phex on Linux and was able to launch it. However, every time Phex tries to connect to a host, I get this error:
"Timeout while opening Socket"
Any ideas?

Hi...

please use the new beta version 0.9.5.54 and also try using the "Query GWebCache" button on startup...
