This was not arrogance. I haven't had an arrogant comment in a while.

It was merely a translation into laymans terms of what had already been mentioned numerous times regarding machine-generated queries on the network.
It's Vinnie's fault! His arrogance finally got to someone, he does nothing but **** everyone off, over and over, his way or the highway, he's gnet god, so on.... Now he says it's not arrogance?? DOUBLE ARROGANCE!!! Someone needs mental help for sure, can't even tell what he's doing to other people. "I'm OK, everyone else isn't" ????

This guy: "Brown Tiger" who said "and you would not like what I do to your searches or search result I return, or even what would happend to your incoming... I guarantee you this this."
was just grand standing and will never make anything himself anyway.

So it's Vinnie's fault you won't have Phex anymore. Now it's time for him to work on the other clients one at a time till they all quit, this is how you take over the world, what a plan.

Run a open source client! No greed!

From my experience, phex is (or was, if this be the case), the best gnutella client I had ever used. I tried LimeWire and Bearshare and both of them had poor results. I would share more files then I would be able to download, if I left it over night I would find the files were only partially downloaded and if I was lucky I would have downloaded 1 or 2 big files in one night. As soon as I used phex, the first night I had downloaded 6 big files in one night!!!

This is ****ed up, I share a lot of my bandwidth with a lot of people and I have a ton of files, but these jerks are saying this has limitations on bandwidth? Search requests have never been a real serious problem for me, plus why would they be concerned for, phex has always been in the hands of a few users and I always thought of it as a cool secret for those who are in with open source and gnutella.

If its going to be the case that these guess are going to dictate what phex is going to be like, then I say **** it, lets start promoting phex as a better solution!!! Lets let their user base drop down, lets start a phex advocacy discussion and lets make sure phex is the dominate gnutella client... cause this is just crap...

That is just so arrogant. He and Greg didnt build gnutella at all, they helped it in certain ways and hurt it in others (like the introduction of the browser from the web). You know who built up gnutella, the users did, especially the ones who actually share files, but why should he acknowledge this, every true monopolist likes to believe they built something, when in fact every pyramid was built by hundreds of thousands of people, not just some dictator who is threatening not only the developers of Phex but also THE USERS!!!
