![]() I ran Phex 2.0.0.76 on Mandrake 10.0 without problems, then upgraded to 2.1.4.80 unstable after doing a clean Mandrake 10.1 install (/home partition left untouched). Now Phex still downloads normally, and files in temp folder have the correct size, but the "completed" files are all 16.384bytes. Any suggestions? I doubt it's due to a faulty /etc/fstab, considering the temp files, but just in case, here's the partition Phex downloads to: /dev/hda6 /big vfat umask=0,iocharset=iso8859-1,codepage=850 0 0 Restarting Phex, as well as removing the completed download, has no effect. |

![]() Files seem to be split up in segment, which for all I know is how Phex stores temporary files (10% of total file size or so). When previewing MP3s, I get a 4 second clip, which sometimes won't even play. This happens regardless of download progress (16k??). I'll try out some other gnutella clients, while I eagerly await a response. Manually splicing the segments should be possible, but is too much work in the long run. |

![]() Normally Phex should download in 16k junks and increase the size as soon as it got its first segment completed. The first segment should also get larger as the time goes, because segments get merged, but as of the newest code, Phex no longer always takes the first segments first, but the rarest first. Normally it should still get the whole file (do it faster, even) as soon as all segment got merged, and it should download mp3-files from beginning to end. As teh files get completed they should be moved to another folder, maybe the bug lies there (for me it works flawless, so I can't judge that). |
