Phex 053 does not resume downloads correctly. I had 2 downloads begun with phex 052. Version 053 seems to get the whole file and append it to the existing file. This results in funny things: I got 110% of a file, the remaining download time was displayd with negative numbers like 00:0-2:0-7 and the files were corrupt. :-(

hmmm

Oh this ****** problem!

I have experienced this kind of problems with Phex long before release 0.5.3. It seems as if it isnŽt a problem with Phex itself (I had lots of sucessful downloads with 0.5.3 during the testing phase) but with the many different sharing(!) hosts. Sometimes the hosts answer to a resume-download request but send the file from the beginning instead of the requested position. Unfortunately Phex doesnŽt check this at the moment which leads to the problem you described. IŽll try to implement some checking in the next version.

Bye,
Konrad

Hi , Konrad, Gregor,

What I would love to see in a future release Is a possibility, to paste adresses to connect to.
And it would be handy to copy adresses from the download screen, just like in the search screen.

And while I am at it,
A possibility to launch files from within Phex, both shared and downloaded ones.

Hi...

thanks for your ideas
You can paste addresses into the connector the following way:
- Mark the text in your browser or somewhere else
- Press CTRL-C
- Go to Phex and into the text field where you type the address
- Press CTRL-V
- The address should be pasted.

Hope this helps.
I will look into the other issues.

Thanks,
Gregor
