Can't connect! Hi, I'm unable to connect gnutellahost.com and router.limewire.com. gnutella.hostscache.com works, but the catched hosts are not useable, I can't connect again. In short: I'm unable to connect to the gnutella network. Does LimeWire and Bearshare block all Phex Users? |
In the gnutella net screen, right from "my adress" you fill in: connect1.gnutellanet.com:6346 Then you click connect, and your hostcatcher should fill, it might not work right away, just try it a few times. It works for me. |

Hi... we are sorry that you are currently having trouble with connecting to the network. I'm thinking about a concept to manually change or download a current host catcher list. For right now please be patient till the next release comes out... You can use the following connectors with the way that RaaF describes: gnutella.hostscache.com:6346 connect1.gnutellanet.com:6346 Gregor |
Is this because gnutellahosts.com is no longer hosting hostnames? |

take Phex 0.5.4 I just released Phex 0.5.4 which connects to some new default hostcatchers. This should solve the problem for now until we implement some more sofisticated default hosts stuff. Bye, Konrad |
