I just downloaded phex and installed it. When i run phex it just comes up with a gray window and a typical blue title bar that comes with the window that says phex and the version number. Plz help. I want phex to work for me.

Some information about my computer:
the Phex version is 2.6.4.89

Im running windows 2000 professional edition

i'm behind a firewall - i'm pretty sure this isn't causing problems, because when i completely disable it I still have the same problem

I have avast! antivirus running

I have the lastest java version

Computer hardware:
Amd Althon 64 3200+
Asus A8v Deluxe
1gb of cosair value select memory (2 slots) running hyperthreading
125Gb Maxtor hard drive
