![]() You need a Java runtime, then you simply use: java -jar phex.jar from within the directory containing the jars.

![]() Thanks for the info. OK i installed a java runtime and invoked the command in the Phex directory here is what I get java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/swing/JWindow at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke0 (Method.java) at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke (Method.java:255) at kaffe.jar.ExecJarName.main (ExecJarName.java:67) at kaffe.jar.ExecJar.main (ExecJar.java:75) I used the command as you suggested java -jar phex.jar and this is the response. Any ideas? Thanks |

![]() You need to use a different Java distribution... Phex needs Java 1.4, try to look at a Java VM from Sun or IBM. Kaffe only supports Java 1.1 and is not an officially Java VM. Gregor |
