Default Please include build system in sourceforge source zip files

I downloaded http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/p...8.2.92_src.zip only to find out that it doesn't include the build system. Please include the build system in this zip file to ease packaging effors and building from source code in general. Now I have to dig out the build system from your CVS to package your application for Gentoo.

You package Phex for Gentoo?

Great!

Thanks a lot!

I think we can add the build-dir, just never seems to have come to mind, since afaik most testers (me included) simply use cvs to get the sources.

Did you also do the other phex ebuilds?

Nope I haven't done anything for the current ebuilds but I should do a cleanup and a version bump as the current ebuilds do not follow the Gentoo Java policy and are not up2date and there doesn't seem to be anyone else for the task.

OK then

Is there any other thing we can to, to make building the ebuilds easier?

Any chance of a cvs-ebuild?

Maybe if someone makes such a thing. It will not replace the normal ebuilds though because the distfiles of a cvs-ebuild can't be mirrored and getting the files is totally dependant on the cvs server. cvs snapshots are fine though.

I will report other things if I find them.

Not really. The current ebuild is just outdated and does not follow the Gentoo Java policy and there doesn't seem to be anyone else interested in cleaning it.

I haven't had anything to do with the current stuff in the tree.
