Phex - Decentralized Instant Messaging Hack

So what if we switched the http file transfer with a chat connection, designated file search for chat key word search, and then designated the local file db for chat key word returns.

Wouldn't that be the working bones for the first decentralized instant messaging system?

Please let me know your opinions.
