Default Packet too big error

Hello,

I'm using phex to test my client. The scenario is, my client connect to phes as a leaf and then sencs Query route table. Later, when a plain query is send then I can see that phex disconnects my client stating "Error..Packet too big, disconnecting from remote host". The same applies when my client replies to probe pings.

I have verified, I'm seding packet in correct order cosideing endianess. I was just wondering what could be the problem? Am I missing some thing? Any help would be appriciated.

Thanks in advance,

guntella06

Maybe your message has a format problem and Phex assumes it has not ended yet?

You should activate the full Log4J based logging to get detailed logging information of whats going on.

Do I need to create config file named logging.properties and make an entry like

org.apache.commons.logging.Log org.apache.commons.logging.Log4Jlogger

Is this the way to activate log4Jlogger?

Thanks in advance,

Yes file name is logging.properties, it must be inside your Phex configuration directory
The content is:

org.apache.commons.logging.Log = org.apache.commons.logging.impl.Log4JLogger

You must include the log4j.jar in your classpath.
