New forum is TERRIBLE !

Too much categories. Too much sub-categories. its INSANE.

Why did "fix" something that was working awesome !?

In the past i have use this forum often. But now its horrible experience...

Same thing on main phex homepage.
One category for HOWTO's, diffrent category for DOCUMENTATION and.. another directory with Wiki for... additional DOCUMENTATION and HOWTO'S !

This is soo messy.

Its my opinion. I love Phex but Forum (in current state) and Webpage are terrible.

Hi pawelsz you've been gone a while. I had the same problem with the new forum layout. By going to Phex (cross platform) and clicking general you will see the latest posts in each of the general sections etc.

I know what you mean. It would be good to go to Phex (cross platform) and see all the posts. It is a matter of realizing which forums are used most .. like General>General discussion. I don't like it, but at the moment it works OK. When the forums get busier, which is what is expected, it will be harder to do this.

I wish I had a better answer, but I've explored ths already and can't see one.

I posted this in forum feedback but repeat it here with changes, which I hope will help anyone trying to look at the entire Phex forum. Go to advanced search ..type into search:

Phex or Gnutella or files or cache

or something similar. The or is important! Then select Phex (cross platform) and search. All threads with one of these words which is most of them, I imagine, will show up.

If anyone thinks of another word or two let us know

I have to agree. We like to move all documentations (FAQ, HowTos..) into the Wiki. If you like to help you are very welcome.
What we are missing is a web site maintainer who enjoys to keep the web site clean and organized. There is just not enough time to do all the Phex coding and keep the documentation up to date.

The sub-section could be put into a different view mode such as most other client sections have here. At present it's in bars. Or this sub-section could be removed altogether. Other sub-sections of other clients can be compared from the home/index page https://www.gnutellaforums.com/

I think it's about time the Phex forum was expanded as requested by GregorK & Arne_Barbe. But there's been mixed thoughts about how it should be.

How would you like to see it?
