Default setting shared directory not working

Oops, misleading header: wish I could amend to to "...not working as in previous versions"

In the latest Phex, setup asks for shared directory, but browse-to option are limited to a mysterious "Shared Files" folder. I would like to specify a full pathname and it won't permit it. I canceled, then went to the "Library" tab and tried again to browse to or otherwise set folder, and same problem. Why the restriction? Is there a way to at least allow me to type a full pathname? I used to be able to do it, with earlier versions.... Must I go back...?

Default

When I use the "add folder" option, it allows me to browse/navigate to the folder I want to use (D:\Phex\Shared\) but clicking "Select" button does not add the folder. Or is it actually added, and I am being mislead by the appearance of the "Library?" Sorry, I guess I need to test this a little further before claiming it is a functional problem.... The mouseover of ?:\?\?\Shared Files\ does list the path I tried to select (D:\Phex\Shared\)....

could you click on the folder and check, if Phex shows its contents?

Default Not a problem, sorry

Yes, it does, and the full path is shown also, in the "directory" column of the "library" tab. Sorry, the graphic layout was just a little strange and different there for a while. I thought I named the directory "Shared" but now it says "Shared Files."
Otherwise, however, everything appears to be ok. Thanks!
