gnutella semantics

I see the document about the gnutella “http://rfc-gnutella.sourceforge.net/...ml”，But it says “semantics for locating and handling resources other thanplain files are not specified in this document”，but if I want to find more semantics of the gnutella，what should I do？

Is there suggestion of this？

"Semantics" is maybe a bit high - there are ways to search by metadata -> GDF - LimeWire
