![]() hey dudes....and dudesses ;-) (are there any ??) ok....has bearshare 2.5 dropped support for.....0.4 protocol.....looks like it from what i get....any one else...has found this.???.I would really appreciate it if i could the 0.6 protocol from somewhere ...any urls ???...also ...any info...on Bearshare Qhd's would be coool....also....what should i do....to ensure that my client is good for the network....and how do i find out bad clients ??? |

![]() Yes, they dropped 0.4 handshake support (with 0.6, it's just tha handshake that changed). Some clients will continue to support 0.4 though. The URL: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/the_gdf/files, check the "Development" section. -- Mike |

![]() hey nos....good humour...but...i meant....blocking bad clients....which some recording industry....must have put on...for slowing down the network...for eg:- by flooding the net with pings.what should my client check for..?? i mean the 0.6 protocol solves this to some extent...and u can check for vendor specific...GUID's .Any other method to do this ?... CHill and happy hacking.....:-) |
