 Tip for developers Guys, Regarding advertising, how about you just do it properly? Oh yeah, then you wouldn't get all the free advertising that privacy advocate uproar generates ... Anyway, for what it's worth, here's an example I just picked up today .. surprisingly I do actually use some adware ... ! http://www.opera.com/support/supsear...index&name=570 "You can voluntarily use Opera's ad preferences to receive targeted ads, but you have to enter this information manually in Opera's Preferences. This information cannot be traced back to you." So if they can do it, why can't you, LimeWire, BearShare, Xolox? Seems they're still going strong, up to major revision 6 of an excellent product, and narry a complaint from their users. Nos  |
