Hello,
I'm nearing completion of a gnutella client. Over the development period of this client, I've decided to implement the gwebcache system (usually referencing gwebcache.bearshare.net) when the client begins. Unfortunately, I've noticed that a vast majority of the servents I contact in an attempt to connect are met by 503 errors (either Full or Unavailable). I'm curious as to whether or not there exists a better server or method for obtaining a list of less-full clients. My client currently implements both the hostcache system and the gwebcaches (I even query the initial gwebcache for a list of other gwebcaches and probe them for servents). At this point, I'm beginning to wonder if it may be something related to the User-Agent tag (to which my client currently describes itself as 'X'). If anyone could please point me to a resource that might allow me to have a higher rate of success as far as finding peers to connect to, I would be very appreciative. Thanks. Zivilyn |

There's no way, maybe you should try to request from other caches because there are not many caches so it gets kinda overload for the clients listed in the caches.
