Simulate Gnutella v0.6: can i use existing code/libraries? Hello all, For my master paper i'm trying to develop a generic p2p-simulator. I'm going to use j-sim as a discrete-event networksimulator and i'm planning to simulate one p2p-protocol: Gnutella v0.6. My goal is to simulate Gnutella v0.6 in detail. I wonder if i should code the protocol myself or can/should i make use of existing libraries/source code (jtella, phex, limewire, gnucleus?) in combination with j-sim? Goal is to implement the protocol in Java. Greetz, Iasty |
Salut, ce n'est pas en java mais le créateur de gnucleus a codé un simulateur de gnutella disponible à http://www.gnucleus.com/GnucNS/ Bonne chance |
et Voila what is when iasty is comming from the northern part of Belgium? they are speaking dutch there. ;) Morgwen |
Morgwen, true, true but everybody ought to speak French, right ;) I for one much prefer it to the ugly spoken English, héhéhé À+ |
For Java you can either use the LimeWire code ( http://llimewire.org ) or the phex code ( http://phex.kouk.de ) I prefer Phex, it is much better customizeable. |
I am also need to test Gnutella in J-sim ? |
I don't know J-sim, so you'll have to check that for yourself. What exactly do you want to do? |
Gnutella Sm Integration with NS-2. Hi I am trying to find LibSynk for Parallel Disrtibuted Network Simulator(PDNS) for Gnutellasim in NS-2. will you help me to get LibSynk...??? |
I don’t actually know the PDNS, and much less LibSync. Have a look at the packages in your GNU/Linux distro. If it isn’t there, it might be hard to get… |
