Question Short client names in QueryHits

Hey there,

I am logging Gnutella traffic for my thesis and try to get some client information based on the short client names that can be found in Query hits.
Here are som short names and what I think they are. Probably someone can help me refering the short names with the cleient names if I don't know them (blank ones) and correct me if I have some errors:

SNUT = SwapNut
GNUC = Gnucleus
GNOT = Gnotella
XOLO = Xolox
MNAP = ???
LIME = LimeWire
QTEL = Qtella

If you know other short names as well please let mne know This was just the beginning I will post some more tomorrow if I log new ones

Thanks for help!

Post vendor codes

Here is a list of known Gnutella clients (dead and alive):

Code Name
----------------
BEAR BearShare
CULT Cultiv8r
GNOT Gnotella
GNUC Gnucleus
GNUT Gnut
GTKG Gtk-Gnutella
HSLG Hagelslag
LIME LimeWire
MACT Mactella
NAPS NapShare
OCFG OpenCola
OPRA Opera
PHEX Phex
QTEL Qtella
SNUT SwapNut

Registered vendor codes http://wilm.nl/gnutella/wiki/ServentVendorCodes
GDF Database (registered users only, stupid) http://groups.yahoo.com/group/the_gd...tAt=&prntRpt=1

Hope it helps & Greets, Moak

PS: As far as I know the vendor codes should be treated case insensitive. As you see all vendor codes are a 4 character code, new clients can use 4 spaces as temporary name.
