Algorithm of Gnutella program?

I want to code a gnutella client, but i can hardly get an overview of the program. When I check the source code of other clients I have to take reference of the protocoll at the same time. Still, I can only understand a samll part of the program. Can anyone show me a simple algorithm of the program in pseudo code? Thanks!

Check out the GDF at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/the_gdf - especially the file section. Read the docs presented there, and if you still have questions, post it here (or on the GDF). These docs should help you get started with your Gnutella client.
