how gnutella web search works?

I want to know how the gnutella web search works. Does the server work like a gnutella client?

yep that's it. However webbrowsers are usually blocked from modern Gnutella servents, so you can't download. See http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...&threadid=6800
